Sarah C. Mangelsdorf became the University鈥檚 11th president on July 1, 2019. As president, she holds the title of G. Robert Witmer, Jr. University Professor.
She is also a full professor in the Department of Psychology.
For most editorial purposes, on first reference, refer to her as University President Sarah Mangelsdorf. As in the case with faculty members, on subsequent references, use her surname without an honorific title.

In formal settings such as programs for institutional events, legal documents, institutional and academic memoranda, and other materials in which the president is formally representing the institution, use her complete name, including middle initial.
