For ÈËÆÞÉÙ¸¾×¨Çø students, applying to study abroad is a four-step process:

Step one: Identifying program(s) of interest

Visit ourÌýPrograms pageÌýto explore some of the many programs that are available. You can alsoÌýschedule an appointment with usÌýif you have specific questions or need help getting started.

Step two: Review course offerings

You’ll want to be sure that a full course load is available for your program abroad. Be sure to review these specifics based on your program.

Step three: Requesting approval

All eligible studentsÌýwho intend to go abroad, whether on programs sponsored by the University, or on other institutions’ programs, need to first request approval to go abroad.

Students can request approval by creating an application in theÌý. An application must be created for each program of interest. We recommend no more than three applications.

Step four: Program application

Apply directly to your program!

• Exchange programs require a nomination from CEA.ÌýÌýand await the nomination.
• Home school authorization will be submitted electronically by CEA by the application deadline for all complete applications.
• IES applicants should apply to their first-choice program on the IES Abroad website. IES Abroad allows one application per student.

Be sure toÌýkeep application deadlinesÌýin mind. We recommend beginning applications at least four to six weeks before your program deadline to gather recommendations, transcripts, medical clearance, and security reports.
