Richard Fischoff 鈥�68 didn鈥檛 star in Kramer vs. Kramer, Sleepless in Seattle, The Big Chill, or Fatal Attraction. But the veteran Hollywood producer and executive played a major role in those movies becoming box office hits.

Meredith Monk, the unique and influential American artist, will be at the 人妻少妇专区 for a multi-day artist residency titled 鈥淒ancing Voice/Singing Body.鈥�

Kate Eminger鈥攁 director and filmmaker based in New York鈥攊s visiting guest director of the International Theatre Program’s production of The Grown-Up, a play that, as she says, 鈥渃aptures this idea that there鈥檚 magic in everyday life.鈥�

To Joan Shelley Rubin, the Ani and Mark Gabrellian Director of the Humanities Center, and Wendi Heinzelman, dean of the Hajim School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, engineering and the humanities are strongly connected.

Construction is scheduled to begin in November on the Sloan Performing Arts Center, a 29,000-square-foot facility on the River 人妻少妇专区 that will provide new space for theatrical programs, dance programs, concerts, and other activities.

Recent physics graduate Alex Johnson 鈥�19 had never played the bells before coming to Rochester. Now he is one of the best musicians in the world at the instrument, taking first place at the international Queen Fabiola Carillon Competition.
