WHAT: The ÈËÆÞÉÙ¸¾×¨Çø’s Center for Emerging and Innovative Sciences (CEIS) will host its 13th Annual University Technology Showcase on the afternoon of March 26.
The half-day event is filled with poster presentations by university researchers showcasing their research, and industry and government representatives outlining their needs and resources. The event will highlight up-and-coming technologies in optics, photonics, imaging, energy, biomedical technology, and many other areas. This is the only event of the year in Rochester that brings together researchers from the ÈËÆÞÉÙ¸¾×¨Çø, RIT, and Cornell University to present their applied research to companies.

BACKGROUND:Â Over the past 5 years, CEIS funding has been leveraged to generate over $400 million in economic impact and the creation of 120 new jobs.
Headquartered at the ÈËÆÞÉÙ¸¾×¨Çø, CEIS is funded by the New York State Foundation for Science, Technology and Innovation (NYSTAR) through its Center for Advanced Technology program. It draws participation from a number of additional universities, including the Rochester Institute of Technology, Cornell University, the University of Buffalo, and Columbia University, some of which will also participate in the forum.
