David Orlando writes, 鈥淚 have successfully defended my thesis, 鈥楻egulation of Global Transcription Dynamics During Cell Division and Root Development,鈥 and received my PhD in computational biology and bioinformatics from Duke University as of February 26, 2009.鈥 . . . Lana Knox and Scott Guthrie were married on September 13, 2008, at the Cleveland Botanical Garden in Cleveland. Emily Faber Densley and Megan Green 鈥05 were bridesmaids. Lana is a litigation associate at the law firm of Bricker & Eckler and will begin a two-year federal clerkship for Judge Kathleen McDonald O鈥橫alley of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio in September 2009. Scott does political fundraising and was finance director for U.S. Senator George Voinovich. He is currently fundraising for a statewide campaign. The couple lives in the town of Rocky River.
