Melvin Anderson has written a book, Diabetes? What鈥檚 That? (AEG Strategic and Eloquent Publishing). The book is based on his unusual medical experience: Just one week after his 80th birthday, Melvin was diagnosed with Type 1鈥攁lso known as 鈥渏uvenile鈥濃�攄iabetes.

Roger Cason 鈥�52 (MS) was elected to a two-year term as president of the mid-eastern region of the National Model Railroad Association.

Chesley Kahmann has released a CD, Prayer at Nightfall (Orbiting Clef Productions), on which she performs a collection of 18 sacred and spiritual songs with her longtime singing group, the Interludes. The recording is the third volume in a series of six CDs of Kahmann鈥檚 songs called The Kahmann Touch.

Barbara Tennant Phelps 鈥�60N sends a photo and an update. In December she married George William Hart in Altamont Springs, Fla. In attendance were Sue Washeim Brown 鈥�60N, 鈥�63N (MS) and Carolyn Ernst Bryant. The wedding was 鈥渁 great occasion for a minireunion,鈥� Barbara聽writes.
